Vision/Mission Statement
Our vision is simple, to be the preferred choice for buyers wishing
to find an airplane or jet to purchase, and to be the first site
dealers turn to when listing new aircraft for sale.
We admit our vision will take time and alot of hard work to achieve,
but is very obtainable by following our mission:
- Display the most comprehensive aircraft listing details.
- Provide users with a very easy to use aircraft directory.
- Provide sellers with intuitive, easy-to-use listing tools.
- Offer the difinitive online source of airplanes for sale.
Corporate Profile
PlaneSelect is a privately held division of Entraspan, Inc.,
a California Corporation established in 1998 that specializes
in the development of mission critical software for the Internet.
PlaneSelect was a natural application of technologies and
software patterns already used in large database driven
e-commerce sites.
About the Founder
Mr. Anderson, the President/CEO of Entraspan has been around
aviation nearly all of his life. He grew up in Kodiak Alaska
across from a float plane lake and municipal airport.
In 2000 Mr. Anderson completed his CFI and purchased a new 1999
Mooney Bravo. Unfortunately by 2003 the plane was not getting
used as much as it should.
Using his knowlege of web-site design and Internet marketing,
Mr. Anderson sold his plane from his own website without using
any third-party advertising.
His attention returned to the success of that sale and the website
over the next few years, but didn't give it serious attention till
2006. After spending time searching for airplanes on other sites
it was time to show that it could be done better.
In early 2007 the prototype was complete and the final product was
created using production quality technologies. This site will
continue to evolve, but you will find a solid foundation for
meeting the vision/mission statement set out above.
